Module overview

Here, we introduce you to how you will interact and work with suppliers in Upchain. First, we will look at how to set up suppliers in your Upchain tenant. From there we will discuss how to add suppliers to your BOM items and share information with them. Lastly, we will look at the Request for quote process, including how to create an RFQ and how to complete one from the supplier’s point of view.

This content takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. By the end, you should be able to:

• Add suppliers to the Upchain tenant
• Add suppliers to a BOM item and set a preferred supplier
• Create a Request for quote to gather information from suppliers
• Access and complete an RFQ  from the perspective of a supplier
