Module overview

Here, we introduce you to the project management tools available to you. We will start by working with the project management section of a project and creating a Gantt chart with tasks, milestones, and stage gates. From there we will look at the workflow for a task in a project. Finally, we will look at the project dashboard and how a project manager and team members can use the dashboard to stay up to date and track their progress. 

This content takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. By the end, you should be able to:

• Add tasks, milestones, and stage gates to a project plan.
• Use constraints to organize tasks.
• Use dependencies to connect tasks together.
• Execute the steps in a task workflow in a project.
• Examine the information in the project dashboard.
