Introducing InfoAsset Manager

Introducing InfoAsset Manager

InfoAsset Manager is a workgroup-based, network asset management system that can also function as a standalone product.

Functionality

Built upon the water management family of Autodesk products, InfoAsset Manager is designed for the management of sewer networks, water distribution networks, and user-defined network assets.

InfoAsset Manager provides the ability to:

  • Manage and maintain long-term network asset data
  • Share data with workgroup users, with audit trails and security mechanisms designed for asset management tasks
  • Import asset data from other systems
  • Consolidate data from various sources using validation and editing tools
  • View a geographical representation of a network on detailed 2D or 3D maps, with customization options
  • Generate up-to-date reports on the network asset status

These functions enable you to manage an existing network or plan future surveys, rehabilitation, and development programs.

Solutions

InfoAsset Manager is a multi-user database with inbuilt data models for water distribution, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure, a GIS user interface, and a report generator.

It delivers accurate and current network performance information for both everyday operations and long-term planning, helping you to make informed, cost-effective decisions.

Data import

Data can be imported from multiple sources, including GIS, asset or survey databases, modeling systems, AutoCAD drawings, paper records, CCTV image and video files, and data from experienced operational staff.

In the expanded Network menu, Import selected, and in the flyout, Import CCTV survey data selected.

Data management

Network data can be stored, updated, and managed over time in a consistent manner. The database itself is a valuable asset for water organizations.

At the same time, it forms an essential part of an overall IT system, integrating with GIS, desktop office systems, hydraulic modeling systems, model management systems (MMS), field data systems, and corporate databases.

InfoAsset Manager provides a central repository for water and wastewater network data, as well as the tools to support the management and planning of water distribution and wastewater systems.

Data storage for InfoAsset Manager is optimized for long-term management of connected networks, offering performance advantages over GIS (location-based storage) or MMS (inventory-based storage).
