Learn Fusion for CAD in 90 minutes (available until Feb 28, 2026)


Course overview

Gain real-world skills by taking a product design from start to finish. Assemble parts using sold modeling techniques, assign materials, and export for use in multiple formats, including 3D printing. By the end of the course, you’ll have enough knowledge to tackle any introductory level project with Fusion.

The Fusion files, instruction, and teaching supplements are available in metric and imperial units in the downloads.

After completing this course, you'll be able to:

  • Navigate the Fusion user interface.
  • Use the navigation and viewing tools.
  • Create and manage design files.
  • Create sketches and create 3D models from sketches.
  • Modify parts with core features, including extrude, revolve, loft, and sweep.
  • Create components and apply assembly joints for proper motion.
  • Create a dimensioned drawing of individual components.
  • Apply visual settings and render a project environment.
  • Share designs and export design files for 3D printing.
