Professional CAD/CAM tools built on Inventor and AutoCAD
In the fast-moving world of Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations (AECO), managing project information is about more than just saving files in a folder. It is about orchestrating data and making sure the right data gets to the right person at the right time.
Through simple, hands-on exercises, you will learn how to build a professional common data environment. You’ll start with the basics of setting up organized folder structures and managing who can see or edit specific files. You will learn how to upload and navigate 3D models and 2D drawings directly in your web browser. You’ll also use digital tools to markup changes, track project mistakes, and handle formal document handoffs. To wrap everything up, you will create project reports.
By the end of this course, you will know how to keep a complex project organized and how to provide big picture updates to your team using automated data tools.
After completing this course, you will be able to:
The step-by-step video instruction totals approximately 90 minutes. The course also includes quizzes, practice exercises, and a capstone project that give you opportunities to apply what you've learned. These activities take additional time to complete and are not included in the 90-minute estimate.
To receive a course completion certificate, you’ll need to click through all course content, including the videos, quizzes, exercises, and project. While the hands-on activities are optional for learning, they must be accessed in order to track course progress. You’ll also need to complete the final test with a passing score of 75 percent to earn the certificate.
