In this course, you’ll build the skills to manage construction project workflows in Forma Build within a connected cloud environment. You’ll learn how to move confidently through project information, streamline communication workflows, and control project costs using integrated tools designed to support real-world project delivery.

You’ll focus on three key areas. First, you’ll jump into Forma Data Management to access and navigate Forma drawings, models, and specifications. Next, you’ll use project communication tools to create and track Issues, RFIs, Submittals, Meetings, Correspondence, Assets, and Forms. Finally, you’ll explore Cost Management tools, including schedules, budgets, payment applications, and forecasting, to strengthen financial visibility and control across the project lifecycle.

By the end of this course, you’ll be ready to navigate Forma Build with confidence, coordinate project communication more effectively, and support cost control workflows in a digital construction environment.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

Access and navigate project information in Forma Data Management.
Work with drawings, models, and specifications in Forma Build.
Create and track Issues for project coordination.
Process RFIs, submittals, meetings, correspondence, assets, and forms.
Set up and manage project budgets in Cost Management.
Monitor payment applications and forecast project costs.

The step-by-step video instruction totals approximately 90 minutes. The course also includes quizzes, practice exercises, and a capstone project that give you opportunities to apply what you've learned. These activities take additional time to complete and are not included in the 90-minute estimate.

To receive a course completion certificate, you’ll need to click through all course content, including the videos, quizzes, exercises, and project. While the hands-on activities are optional for learning, they must be accessed in order to track course progress. You’ll also need to complete the final test with a passing score of 75 percent to earn the certificate.
