Create preliminary road quantities and schedules in Civil 3D

Create preliminary quantities and schedules by taking the design into Civil 3D to ensure the road design stays within the project budget. In this course you learn how to create a surface from the corridor model so that you can then run quantities takeoffs along the road.

 

This module takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to: 

• Create a surface model from the corridor
• Create quantity takeoffs 
• Add the Datum Surface to the Civil 3D Data Shortcuts

This module requires user-level knowledge of Civil 3D and is focused on best practices and its industry applications. If you don't have experiences with this product, we recommend you to take foundational training using one of the resources below:
