Simulate energy performance with Insight and EnergyPlus

In this video, you'll take the Energy Analysis Model (EAM) you created in Revit and export it to Autodesk Insight for energy modeling. Powered by EnergyPlus, Insight enables dynamic simulations of whole-building energy use based on geometry, climate, envelope, and systems. You’ll learn how to assign an HVAC system, interpret simulation results, and evaluate energy performance metrics that influence operational carbon. This foundational workflow sets the stage for deeper performance analysis, including total carbon assessment in subsequent videos.
