Create a saw trigger model that can be injection molded using Fusion 360. 

Overview

Get hands-on with a project that lets you apply your part modeling and sketching skills with exercises that work towards design mold core and cavities for various injection molded designs.

Injection molded saw trigger model

Project scenario:
A customer has asked your company to create a version of a power tool trigger that can be drafted from a specific direction while following injection molding best practices. The provided part can be pulled in the X direction and is a solid part and the customer would like a consistent walled version to be pulled in the Y direction. Project guidelines are provided but you may need to search for injection molding best practices. 


After completing this project, you'll be able to:

  • Review a design.
  • Create fully detailed model with draft.
  • Use Draft Analysis.
