Create generic bridge components in Inventor

Generic components use the same parameter sketching and modeling workflows, and are very flexible in application.        

 

This content takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. By the end, you should be able to: 

• Use sketches based on UCS features to build a solid model.
• Develop features to angle the component faces using parameters.
• Create property rules to suppress the features based on dimensions.
• Export a component for use in InfraWorks.
