Feature Lines in Project Explorer

Module overview

Welcome to Feature Lines in Project Explorer. Feature lines in Civil 3D provide more flexibility for grade breaks when creating a surface. Using Project Explorer to create and edit feature lines provides more efficient ways to identify and filter feature line objects. This ensures you do not mistakenly modify the wrong object(s) when grading complex sites. In this module, you learn how to create and edit feature lines inside Project Explorer.

This module takes approximately 20 minutes to complete. By the end of the module, you should be able to: 

• Create feature lines in Project Explorer 
• Edit feature lines in Project Explorer  
• Create grading design in Project Explorer
