Export a floor plan from Revit

To determine a building footprint for a proposed structure, the outline of that building needs to come from either the architect or engineer working on the building design. By choosing the correct settings in Revit a specific view can be exported to AutoCAD then added to the Civil 3D model. This allows coordination between the civil and building trades.

After completing this video, you’ll be able to:
•    Create a view in Revit to be used for coordination.
•    Configure export settings in Revit for use in Civil 3D
•    Externally reference the CAD export in the correct location in the site.
