Understanding how to plan a water system for utilities begins by identifying the end goals and creating a plan, which then helps define the model. Considerations include the pressure, velocity, supply, storage, fire flow, and water quality of the system. The more detailed the plan, the easier it is to begin building the water network model, establish pressure zones, and ultimately project water demand.
Once completed you'll be able to:
