Construction safety management

Course overview

Learn modern construction safety management practices using the tools in Autodesk Build. You’ll discover how to create site specific safety documentation, including collections of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and site specific safety plans. You’ll learn how to effectively communicate safety instructions and information. And you’ll learn how to track leading indicators and other incidents—all within a connected digital platform that supports collaboration, accountability, and transparency.

By the end of the course, you’ll know how to streamline safety oversight by digitizing typical safety management workflows to help mitigate adverse incidents before they occur.

Be sure to download the course datasets so you can follow along with the exercises.

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain how Build enables better safety management through connected digital workflows.

This video guide is designed for instructors to help them get started with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) in their classroom. It is assumed that you have Account Administrator access in ACC and a hub. The steps in the video should be followed so that students can use the datasets and follow along with the course videos.

Note: Assigning ACC licenses to students should be performed through ACC (https://acc.autodesk.com/) and NOT the Autodesk Account page. Assigning licenses to other products such as Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Cloud Worksharing, etc. is performed through the Autodesk Account page (https://manage.autodesk.com/).
