MTI MARIUSZ MAJCHROWSKI Implemented Fusion 360 with the Machining Extension

MTI MARIUSZ MAJCHROWSKI Implemented Fusion 360 with the Machining Extension

Customer challenge

The MTI Mariusz Majchrowski company provides services and specialized tools for the aviation, railway and automotive industries. The company implements the most demanding projects meeting individual customer requirements. The design process takes place in our own design office, where complete technical documentation is created for the company's internal departments and directly for the end customer.

Project goals

The previous tools and methods of CAD design did not allow us for direct transfer of data to the technology department and then to production. We were looking for cost-effective software that would provide the development of construction and technological documentation and then would allow to use of the data on CNC machines.

Solution

The implementation of Fusion 360 software enables us trouble-free preparation of technical documentation, based on which, our technologists prepare g-cods for CNC machines.
Most CNC machines use 3-axis postprocessors. Fusion 360 provides us with full support for them, while for 5-axis machining we additionally use the Machining Extension.
We currently use seven subscriptions of Fusion 360 and two Machining Extensions.

Business outcome

The Fusion 360 cloud software allowed MTI Mariusz Majchrowski to reduce production costs, lead time and increase its competitiveness on the Polish and European markets.

Conclusion

Support in the selection of system software was provided by CADVISION PANOVA Group. We can also count on their technical support not only in the field of software operation, but also in the field of analysis and modification of a rich library of post-processors.

Optimize Design Processes and Increase the Efficiency of Cross-Industry Cooperation with the Autodesk Architecture, Engineering and Construction Collection

PANOVA STUDIO treats every project as a new challenge. The design process is complex and interdependent on many factors. Therefore, when embarking on the Eco City Katowice project, the office had to anticipate and plan the entire design process. They knew from the beginning that they wanted to use the capabilities of the Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection software to complete such a project. The company wanted to develop a method of cooperation that would streamline the design process at the stage of construction design, detailed design and coordination of progress on site. The first stage of work, which included an analysis of the plot's potential, was very important for the whole project. Among other things, at this stage of work, drone flights were made on the basis of which a numerical model of the terrain was created using Civil 3D software. The file transferred to Autodesk Revit allowed the conceptual work to begin with a complete set of key information.
