They knew from the beginning that they wanted to use the capabilities of the Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection software to complete such a project. The company wanted to develop a method of cooperation that would streamline the design process at the stage of construction design, detailed design and coordination of progress on site. The first stage of work, which included an analysis of the plot's potential, was very important for the whole project. Among other things, at this stage of work, drone flights were made on the basis of which a numerical model of the terrain was created using Civil 3D software. The file transferred to Autodesk Revit allowed the conceptual work to begin with a complete set of key information.

Project goals

Panova Studio faced the challenge of creating a multi-functional office complex implementing the latest energy saving solutions within the Eco City Katowice project. As new digital tools and technologies impact the practice of architecture and design, the firm has had to evolve its processes to keep up with the evolution of the practice. The goal was to integrate people, processes and technology. The challenge was to organize a platform for all participants in the design process. The solution to the problem turned out to be the Revit platform along with the BIM Collaborate package, which allowed all participants in the process to work on the project file on an external server in real time.
