Sabbour Consulting Company's mission is to serve and develop communities through the provision of high quality engineering consultancy that are aligned with the international standards. Katamya Hills is a residential built on 156,000 sqm. Sabbour had an issue that customers could not see and visualize the final properties and feel the experience. Also, top management couldn't see the final compound and see live the experience.

Project goals

By using the Autodesk solutions, this project aims at selling units while the project is under construction and providing the customers with the full experience as they are living in their properties.

Solution

Autodesk Infraworks is used in early stages in the master planning of the project, moreover, Autodesk FormIt Pro is used in the conceptual design. It worth noting that the integration between Autodesk FormIt Pro and Autodesk Revit played an important role in transforming the conceptual design into detailed designs. Autodesk 3DsMax and Autodesk 3dsMax Interactive had a magnificent in creating the Virtual Reality experience. Autodesk Civil 3D is used in modeling all networks to create a record model including all models entities and objects and could by used further in FM integrations.

Business outcome

Some of the outcomes we have are initiating the VR core team that able to create VR models using Autodesk 3DsMax Interactive and programming using Lua Programming. Next is increasing sales numbers by 30%. Moreover, providing real experience and customers satisfaction and reducing errors in design.

Conclusion

Utilizing Autodesk solutions helped us tremendously to achieve project goals and reduce projects issues. We were one of the first companies to have VR technology among all the real estate companies. Autodesk Infraworks and Autodesk FormIt Pro helped the Top management to see the full picture of the compound before initiating the project. Sabbour is willing to acquire more digital technologies such AR,MR and Hologram to provide better solutions to customers.
