Eesti Energia AS is a public limited energy company headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia. As the world's biggest “oil shale to energy” company, it has several subsidiary companies operating in energy production, distribution, and sales, each of which uses a lot of software licenses, over 100 Autodesk product seats among them. Lately the shift to green energy has necessitated a lot of changes in their operations. For the best cooperation between designers in these companies, Eesti Energia AS decided to handle purchasing, distribution, and managing of software licenses at the main company. Project goals

The primary project goal with Eesti Energia AS was to find an efficient way to manage Autodesk subscriptions from the main company for all subsidiary companies.

Solution

The Autodesk Premium Plan was chosen, as it was the best way to accommodate Eesti Energia AS’s preference for managing Autodesk software subscriptions from a central location. Autodesk subscriptions included the Product Design & Manufacturing Collection and AutoCAD. The CAD360 Group and Autodesk support teams helped Eesti Energia AS’s Software Asset Manager and his staff in mapping and documenting the starting situation and make it suitable for using the Premium Plan. When the preparation was done, the Premium Plan was implemented and Eesti Energia AS support persons were trained and supported all through the process.
