Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects had three goals they wished to achieve, 1) to implement an Autodesk Revit toolset to enhance the user's ability to efficiently design within the program (both textual, numerical and graphical information), 2) to find a single-source solution for training and implementation, and 3) allow their architects to easily edit and enhance the model using tools which work directly within Autodesk Revit.
Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects consulted with COINS Professional Services who presented the design teams with illustrations of how the Autodesk Revit Toolkit enhances design workflows and provided users assistance with implementation, training and support.
Included in the COINS Revit Toolkit and developed specifically for Autodesk Revit:
1) Parameter Report provides Brinkley Sargent Wiginton Architects flexibility and power over multiple parameter modifications through various BIM workflows
2) Auto-Section Box gives their users tremendous speed and agility over managing views when analyzing model areas of particular interest
3) Adjust View Range enables direct access to the View Range parameters of their model by offsetting the Cut Plane, Top, or Bottom
4) Renumber Instances tool simplifies repetitive instance parameter modifications for door marks, room numbers, and viewport detail numbers placed on their sheets
