SHM Architects, a privately owned boutique design studio founded in 2005 serving clients across the United States with a consistently growing number of bespoke projects and designers, realized a need to move from localized design teams using AutoCAD Architecture to Revit and the Autodesk Construction Cloud, as well as to align with their peer's digital transformations from simple drawings to a BIM workflow. The firm, which had worked with AutoCAD Architecture for so long, was concerned that internal teams initially would not see the reasons to make a change, and understood their associates worried about a learning curve disrupting project timelines and interrupting productivity.
