This course will focus on the workflow for complete project collaboration, starting with InfraWorks software and pulling it all together in Navisworks software for review, clash detection, coordination, and more. We’ll start by creating an existing site model with InfraWorks software’s Model Builder, which we’ll then import into Civil 3D software. Using the Civil 3D site plan, we’ll geolocate our Revit model and coordinate everything within Navisworks. We’ll end by kicking things up a notch and pushing everything (InfraWorks model, Civil 3D model, and Revit design model) to Revit Live to create a virtual reality (VR) experience.

Matt has also provided BIM implementation, training, and technical support for local architectural and engineering firms in the use of Revit, InfraWorks, Navisworks, AutoCAD Civil 3D and more. Matt has more than 25 years of experience with Autodesk software in the AEC industry from installation to customization. In addition, Matt is a member of the Autodesk Expert Elite program, a member of the Planning Committee of the Construction Institute's BIM Council, certified in Autodesk Building Performance Analysis, a Certified Revit Professional in all disciplines of Revit. He is also the owner & FAA certified drone pilot at SkyViz.io, an aerial imagery and data collection service provider specializing in photogrammetry, mapping and 3D modeling for AEC professionals.
