Cerro Corá Station is not a typical engineering project. It’s a 50-meter-deep and 50-meter-diameter cylindrical subway station, designed to accommodate two future subway lines intersecting within a single structural volume. The central structural element? A massive cylindrical retaining wall with four large structural openings—a challenge for any engineer aiming to maintain analytical accuracy and performance. Manually modeling such a structure analytically is time-consuming and a potential source of serious design errors. To overcome this, we developed a complete automated and interoperable workflow that begins with the physical geometry in Revit software, uses custom Dynamo routines to generate the analytical model—including the segmental wall with its four massive openings—and seamlessly transfers everything into Robot Structural Analysis 2025 software for structural analysis and verification.

What if your MEP model could think ahead—automatically organize itself and warn you of where problems are likely to happen? In this session, you’ll discover a smart, automated approach to MEP coordination using Dynamo and rule-based artificial intelligence (AI) logic. Simply enter the available floor-to-slab height, and the system allocates dedicated zones for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. Once zones are defined, services are automatically repositioned into their assigned spaces. After this, the system intelligently flags potential clash zones where conflicts might still arise—even before you run clash detection. Based on real workflows used in one of Saudi Arabia’s largest commercial projects, this session will deliver a game-changing method to reduce rework, speed up coordination, and achieve next-level Automation, Integration, & Customization in Revit software.

While BIM is firmly embedded in architectural and structural documentation workflows across Europe, structural engineering remains notably behind—particularly in mature markets like the United Kingdom and DACH region. Despite Europe’s €1+ trillion annual construction output, adoption of BIM-based structural analysis workflows is hindered by fragmented toolsets, niche technical demands, and resistance to change. This presents both a risk and a high-potential market opportunity. In this session, Stefan Maly—Autodesk ISV/PSR and strategic development partner in structural engineering—will examine the drivers behind this digital gap. And he’ll outline how Revit software can act as a key enabler in unlocking a more decentralized, scalable, and data-centered BIM future in the European construction software space.

Reducing office energy use is crucial for achieving a carbon-neutral society. This session shows how aligning building systems with office usage can lead to significant savings. Activity-Based Working (ABW) offices let workers choose their workspace based on tasks and personal preferences, such as temperature and lighting, enhancing wellness and productivity. By creating varied zones̶cool, warm, bright, and calm̶we support passive energy use and reduce the need for uniform conditioning. Sensors monitor the environment, and data is visualized with Autodesk Tandem to understand and improve workplaces. After implementation, 70% of workers are satisfied with their selected spots, and overall satisfaction rose to 71%. HVAC zoning for diverse environments cut daily thermal energy use by up to 40%. Join us to learn how these strategies can significantly impact your office's energy use and worker satisfaction.
