Hicom Teck See is bidding for a production project to supply 120L Mobile Waste Containers. Being Hicom Teck See, their expertise is mainly focused on producing automotive parts. To handle a deep pocket container is new to them yet there is customer demand for an in-depth Design for Manufacturability (DFM) report that includes Moldflow Simulation and Mechanical Simulation.

In order to win the bidding, the below items needed to be delivered: 1) Produce a Moldflow Simulation Report 2) Facilitate Nastran analysis on non-linear, fatigue, thermal stress and impact analysis reporting 3) Determine the manufacturability of the part

The AD&M Team setup an internal discussion to determine all the requirements to support the bidding specification with the Hicom Teck See Team. AD&M guided them and provided consulting on how to generate a good Moldflow report via Autodesk Moldflow while supporting the team to perform Nastran Simulation on the Waste Container.

Within 2 weeks, AD&M managed to complete all the analysis and compiled a report for the bidding submission. Currently, the customer is under-going an evaluation process. The Hicom Teck See team have developed trust and experience throughout the process.

STS has for over 45 years specialized in fabrication moulds for Plastic Injection and Blow Moulds. Their primary customers are from the Automotive Industries. 6 years back, STS adopted the Autodesk Moldflow solution with the vision to improve and optimize on their mould design capabilities.
