C.S. Engineering Autoparts’s challenge includes expanding their 5-axis CNC’s capability to serve the growing customer’s demand. The investment on 5 a-xis machine was done years ago but focus on simple shape part machining only. In order to get full advantage of the 5 axis machining technology, the use of high end CAM software is necessary together with well-training users program. This is the reason CADCAMTHAI introduce Autodesk PowerMILL Ultimate software to this company.

Project goals

The goals of this project is to train the new users to use Autodesk CAM software in more advanced level, to setup the workpiece and run the 5-axis CNC successfully. Once the users reach this level ,the company will get more orders from their customer and growing in this market.

Solution

C.S. Engineering Autoparts made the decision by ordering 1 seat of Autodesk PowerMill Ultimate 3 years subscription. Intensive training was delivered by CADCAMTHAI team to 2 engineers for 2 weeks as well as on job training (1 parts), which take 3 weeks.
