Success Story

In cooperation with the Estonian municipality Lääne-Harju (https://laaneharju.ee/) and Paldiski Town, C3Scape started designing the Paldiski Town park. The client wanted a 3D model of the park to be presented to the public and potential sponsors including a video, posters and roll-ups.
After the first solid areas and contours emerged, C3Scape utilized Autodesk InfraWorks, where a 3D model was created. When the street furniture, placement of playgrounds, gym and other elements of the park were completed, the designer of C3Scape designer Martin Saarnak wondered if this model could also be used for BIM design.
Since it is easy to create an IFC file from 3ds Max, Martin decided to add it as well. The IFC file was created from the InfraWorks project as a BIM ready model. The data content was not dealt with within this sketch and therefore the BIM model was not immediately created. However, the data content was resolved later in Civil 3D with the Property Set Data applications.
The goal of the Lääne-Harju Municipality was to get a 3D model of the park in order to present it to the public and potential sponsors as a video, posters and roll-ups. In addition, the C3Scape designer had to work with various manufacturers and partner designers to make the end result as realistic as possible and convey the exact idea.
When making 3D outdoor space sketches, the designer started with the InfraWorks model, into which was imported various parameters and geometry in different formats (including open-data provided from Estonian Land Board, Building Register, local municipality GIS systems, and more). When the time came in the country to start creating and specifying "beautiful" geometry; for example, to correct models of road corridors, fences, landscaping, and more, then the IMX format was created for the rawest connection between InfraWorks and Civil 3D. For this, the designer used 3ds Max to export the appropriate DWG file, which in turn he opened in Civil 3D and created the IFC model file.
As a user of Autodesk's AEC Collection, he can at least be sure that these three programs will always work well in the newest version, and import and export will not cause any worries.
Thanks to the Autodesk AEC Collection, Civil 3D and 3dsMax software, the C3Scape designer was able now to offer added value to the customer by providing the requested visualization project as a BIM ready 3D model. As the C3Scape designer had all the needed tools within the Autodesk AEC Collection, the data exporting and importing went smoothly and the time spent to create added value was minimal.
As a result, the Lääne-Harju municipality government was happy. In addition to a beautiful visual, they also received an open-format file with accurate parametric data, which can be changed as needed in future projects.
When the project was handed over, the Customer was very grateful and happy for the work done. "I didn't spend too much time so that the work done could be opened in any scene viewer in the future and thus the elements could be rearranged," the designer commented.
The C3Scape designer recommends: "Everyone who uses the AEC Collection for 3D planning of infrastructures and outdoor areas, could use 3ds Max as an excellent intermediate tool between InfraWorks and Civil 3D. It saves a lot of time and provides added value to the client."
AruCAD Süsteemid, as the local Autodesk Partner and Learning Center, helped the C3Scape designer with implementation jobs, providing needed software localization and customization packages.

Akso-Haus Ltd Private Residence Building
Towards the end of the year 2021, we had to carry out interior and exterior design project with our partner and client Akso-Haus Ltd (https://www.aksohaus.ee/en/), prefabricated modular houses producer since 2004. The challenge was to support them operatively to bring the final phase of a client’s great idea and vision to life. In this case, the project was quite challenging due to tight project and limited budget size. To insure technical quality, by having same time to keep working efficiency and time schedules, Revismo was opting for Autodesk 3ds Max.
Exhibition Stand of "Windy Scandinavia" with Autodesk 3ds Max
Baltic Exposervice has successfully worked in the exhibition industry since 1999. Baltic Exposervice warehouse is based in Riga, Latvia. The Company is able to build several thousand square meters of exhibition stands. Baltic Exposervice admits the main goal is to find the best solution for any industry and help others to rent exhibition space. The Company could also develop the design of the exclusive stand and install it for clients. It is a pleasure for the company to offer services of the development of non-standard design stand construction. Sometimes projects are pretty challenging: tight in time, limited in budget and of course the customer can change his mind clearly often. To work more efficiently and be ready in time for exhibitions, the company opted for Autodesk's 3ds Max solution.
Peat Pallet Line Automation with Autodesk Inventor
Latma SIA helps small and medium-sized companies to implement automated systems and industrial robots in production. The challenge for this project - palletizing different peat substrate packages in both 250L and 300L. The peat is a material which, after pressing, can either remain constant or increase, depending on the weather and the raw materials. Also, the weight of the package reaches 70 kg, but the lifting capacity of the robot has been determined, so a tool (gripper) must be made for moving the peat package and empty pallets, strong enough and long-lasting, but light. There are also two roller conveyors in the line, with one help you can turn the pack around its axis (180 degrees) and plaster it on the other conveyor to 90 degrees. Because the packages must be folded with the specified end to one side.
