Cada unidade usava diferentes métodos de programação em Autodesk PowerMILL, setups, macros, posprocessadores, NCSetupsheets e procedimentos diferenciados para controlo dimensional com o PowerINSPECT; o que dificultava a troca de projectos entre programadores e a aquisição de dados para o planeamento da produção.
