Project goals

Enata had four primary goals. First it would be to have access to reliable post processors for complex milling robots which supported kinematics of more than 7 Axis. Next would be to streamline NC program generation for all Robots & CNC machines using a single programming software. In addition to that, able to identify areas within current production setup and implement efficient programming techniques to save time and cost. Lastly would be deliver in-house training for staff and reliable after sales support .

Solution

After an initial meeting and review, Deltron set out meeting with users & management at Enata Industries. Based on requirements posted by customer application engineers from Deltron visited customer and collated robot details for which post processor had to be configured. A trial was conducted on a sample component provided by customer and software capabilities were showcased .Value addition by getting associated with Deltron was discussed. By implementing Autodesk Powermill, Deltron was able to offer Enata Industries a world class software solution which not only reduced programming time with optimized post processors but also allowed customer to get ROI over investment in months compared to years!

By switching to Autodesk Powermill, Enata Industries was able to meet ever-growing demand from customers to get complex designs manufactured in the minimum possible time with required accuracy. Virtual simulation capabilities inside the Autodesk Powermill Software helped Enata Industries to predict and prevent robot collisions which otherwise would have proven costly.
