Success Story

The company 3D Sets, s.r.o. is engaged in the production and sale of printable functional models of cars, which the user can build himself as a puzzle.
The 3dsets.com project was created in response to the expanding field of hobby 3D printing, where there is a steadily growing group of hobby printer users. Mr. Slavik, together with Jiří Lorenčík, founded the 3dsets.com project, thanks to which they can offer users interesting content - 3D printing model data in premium quality.
Enthusiastic modelers, of which there have always been many in our country, can purchase the entire model in the form of digital data ready for printing. The entire model was prepared in Autodesk Fusion 360. We interviewed Ondřej Slavik and Jiří Lorenčík and asked them for some information about this project.
We used Fusion 360 for several reasons:
We missed a lot the possibility to modify the "linked" other parts in the document, which has recently been solved by the new "Derive" function. As the size of the project grew, the dependence of the whole file system on online access to the Internet became unpleasant. When one person is working on a project this doesn't matter at all, but when both parties are constantly editing files, a lot of data is constantly being downloaded and this can sometimes be a drag.
"We like the very fast development of Fusion 360. In the year we have been working on our 3dsets.com project, Fusion 360 has changed a lot, with a lot of new things added. At the same time, we like the speed of the different fixes. In our opinion, Fusion 360 has a very fast learning curve, probably because it is a young and dynamic program that is not hampered by "historical" obstacles."

Implementation of Data Management System in PSP Engineering a.s. (czech)
PSP Engineering a.s. provides complex engineering for the mechanical, electrical and structural parts of machines and complete plants for the building materials industry. For more than 50 years, PSP Engineering has been associated with the design and technology for cement plants, crushing and screening plants for quarry stone, gravel and sand, lime plants and coal and ore processing plants. The PDM system for data management allows working in a team of people, where they do not overwrite each other's files and very quickly find the necessary data in the entire database, records file versions and allows efficient copying of data. This program runs on a server (even virtually) and depending on the version of this program you choose, Autodesk Vault is divided into Vault Basic (free with Inventor) and the more advanced Workgroup and Professional. In addition to these versions, Vault Office, primarily for everyone except engineers, is also used.
Increasing Work Efficiency with PDM at ICE Industrial Services (czech)
ICE Industrial Services develops, designs, programs and installs automated machines and lines for major companies around the world. Teamwork and data sharing within a company are essential to the operation of most modern businesses. This is also the case at ICE Industrial Services, a. s. - one of the fastest growing automation companies in the Czech Republic and probably in Europe. For this company, our company ADEON has implemented the Autodesk Vault Workgroup system exactly to measure. Thanks to this, we managed to maximally increase work efficiency, eliminate the risk of knowledge loss and centralize design data.
How Navisworks Helps in BIM Projects at HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek (czech)
HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek is a private engineering and contracting company with a strong design background, established in the 1950's and today one of the leading Czech engineering and contracting organizations. Our company influences the level of the Czech and world coke industry and heavy metallurgical chemistry. HUTNÍ PROJEKT Frýdek-Místek a.s. was awarded a contract for the documentation of the coke oven gas cooling system for the Dutch coke plant TATA Steel in IJmujden. The IJmuiden production plant of Tata Steel (Netherlands) produces about 7.2 million tonnes of liquid steel annually in two blast furnaces and one basic oxygen steel plant. A total of 2 million tonnes of coke is produced annually for the blast furnace operation in two coke ovens and gas-fired power plants. In addition, the coke oven gas produced is used as an energy source in other installations at the IJmuiden site.
