The goal of implementing software to enable collaboration within the design team was to increase the productivity of engineers, as well as transparent per-design communication, design security and availability of advanced tools, including for strength analysis.

The result of implementing the strategy was the migration of the project team from working in the Solidworks environment to working in the Autodesk environment carried out by AEC Design. These programs ensure mutual collaboration and smooth exchange of information. Users are gradually increasing their commitment in the new environment, developing an individual way of working.
The implementation area covered the engineering department located in Poland. The development and storage of files within the project team and with subcontractors is done in a specific, standardized and seamless way. The accumulation of files in a centralized space with an additional external backup mechanism guarantees the security of the developed data.
The PDMC tools meet the current needs of designers - the demanding ones and the minor, occasional ones, and the cost incurred in the subscription in correlation to the content of the package compares favorably.
Additional specialized modules, including Autodesk Inventor Nastran, allow increasing employee involvement and competence. The performance and stability of the software related to the modification of complex assemblies compared to its absence in the previous software is flawless, on the plus side is the ability to selectively download and modify components of assemblies without disturbing the rest of the people.
