As a solutions supplier of filtration, separation and water technology Aqseptence Group was working with multiple projects with the same products but different configurations. Same design data were being used in different project with parameter changes. Creating multiple designs for the same work was repetitive, time consuming too and prone to errors too.

Project goals

Now design team require multiple variants as per their customer requirements to kick off the project. With every project creating new design is time taking and repetitive so they were looking for some solutions in such way user can make some changes as needed and get new variant of model this will save lots of time at start phase of any design.

Solution

Initially after some discussion we started design automation tools available within Autodesk Inventor like ipart, iassembly and iLogic. After some training and multiple troubleshooting, we have generated completely rule based model which any one can modify with iLogic form. Now user just must open master assembly of tools make changes in iLogic form as required and kick off his work.

Business outcome

As user now don’t have to spend much time on creating concept design, we can start working on project faster, with Autodesk Inventor being available for us. This helps us in every aspect of team such as design, documentation, manufacturing, and submission of project.

Conclusion

With Autodesk Inventor iLogic we can generate new design faster. Effects of style of generating modal are avoided, which results in uniformity & standardization in drawings as well as products.
