목포해양대학교 선박수리 지원센터의 프로젝트 목표는 다음과 같습니다.
Autodesk PowerMILL Ultimate 버전을 활용하여 고난이도 특수 가공으로 분류되는 Impeller, Blade 가공을 안전하고 효율적으로 진행할 수 있도록 합니다. 해당 가공을 위해서는 높은 가공 수준을 요하는 엔지니어의 능력과 그를 뒷받침하는 가공 환경이 필요합니다.
2) Machine Simulation 을 통한 실제 작업 환경과 같은 조건 제공
- 초기 기본 기술 지원 후 고객이 직접 축 리미트 설정, 지그 장착 등 직접 커스터마이징하여 실제 가공 환경과 동일한 조건 구성함으로써 가공 전의 충돌 위험성 등의 문제를 사전에 체크하기 위해 활용
2. 편의성 도모를 위한 작업
1) 효율적인 작업 환경 구축을 위해 작업시트 지원
목포해양대학교 선박수리지원센터는 위험성과 난이도가 높은 Impeller, Blade 가공의 불량률을 줄이고 효율적인 가공을 진행하고 있습니다. 엔지니어가 3D CAD 프로그램인 Autodesk PowerSHAPE을 활용하여 모델링 작업을 진행하고, 해당 모델을 Autodesk PowerMILL에 Import 한 뒤 Impeller 가공용 모듈을 활용하여 툴패스를 생성합니다. 검증 작업을 위해서 Machine Simulation 검증 작업을 통해 실제 가공 중 발생할 수 있는 문제에 대해 사전에 파악합니다. 다음으로 작업지시서를 출력한 뒤 가공 조건을 마지막으로 체크하고 해당 작업이 모두 마무리 된 뒤 Post Processing 작업과 다양한 테스트로 검증 된 Post 를 활용하여 NC데이터를 출력하는 절차로 효율적인 가공을 진행하고 있습니다.
