마팔하이테코는 연매출 720억원의 절삭공구(절밀보링공구,밀링공구,드릴) 및 자동차엔진부품 등 공작기계를 제조, 생산하는 업체로 고객사에 신입사원 또는 경력이 많지 않은 설계자가 빠르게 모델링 및 도면 작성이 어렵기 때문에 설계 업무 시간 대비 비효율적인 설계 시간 소요의 문제점이 있었습니다. 그리고 Excel 파일로 데이터 테이블을 관리하며, Autodesk AutoCAD에 수기로 수정한 Excel 테이블을 링크하여 도면을 작업하는 과정에서 조건에 맞지 않는 테이블이 삽입되거나 결과값이 맞지 않는 데이터가 입력되는 등 이러한 휴먼 에러로 인해 현장에서 불량이 발생하는 문제점이 있었습니다.

Autodesk Product Design & Manufacturing Collection에 포함되어 있는 Autodesk Inventor Professional의 i-Logic 기능을 활용하여 Twist Drill의 1단, 2단, 3단에 해당하는 사내 표준 템플릿을 구성하였습니다. 기존에 Special Spec의 Twist Drill을 생성하기 위해 Re-Modeling 하였으나 설계 자동화 컨설팅을 통해 i-Logic Form에 조건에 맞는 Spec을 입력하여 빠른 설계 변경이 가능하고, 도면 작업에서도 i-Logic으로 구성된 클릭 버튼을 통해 자동으로 Table & Geometry가 삽입되도록 구성하여 많은 시간을 절감할 수 있습니다.
설계 업무 시간을 더 효율적으로 사용하기 위해 방법을 찾아보다가 Inventor Professional의 i-Logic 기능을 알게 되었고, 다우데이타에서 진행하는 교육을 통해 i-Logic으로 설계 자동화가 가능할 것으로 판단되어 주노티엔씨와 프로젝트를 진행하게 되었습니다. 프로젝트를 통해 i-Logic이 적용된 사내 표준 템플릿을 구성할 수 있었으며 완성된 컨설팅 데이터를 통해 실무에 적용하여 효율적인 시간 절감 효과를 보게 되었습니다. 결과에 상당히 만족 하시어 현재 프로젝트에서 진행한 Twist Drill 외 다른 부품까지 확장할 계획입니다.
