Achieve Optimal Cost Savings and Investment Efficiency Through the Utilization of Autodesk's Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection and Autodesk Docs

BILT Middle East is a Dubai-based company incorporated in 1978, specializing in electrical, plumbing, and air conditioning works for various types of buildings. They also offer consultancy services and have a team dedicated to high workmanship standards and client satisfaction. 

The company was looking for solutions to maximize cost savings and investment efficiency while maintaining strict quality control and seamless workflow and data connection throughout the construction process.

BILT aimed to enhance team efficiency and collaboration, with the ultimate goal of achieving timely and successful project completion for both of their projects.

The goals were: 

1. Design a complete 3D BIM model in Architecture, Structure, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) 

2. Reduce clash detection. 

3. Extract quantity take-off from the BIM model. 

4. Train the current team on how to apply Autodesk Docs in their work.

In pursuit of digitizing their technology management processes, BIMAGE Consulting has introduced an Autodesk Docs and Autodesk Revit enablement program that involves the following training steps.

1. We provided employees with access to Autodesk Revit MEP Basic and Advanced, enabling them to create BIM models for Architecture, Structure, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), and instructed them to build a family Revit library. 
2. The use of Autodesk Revit is expected to improve their project execution speed. Subsequently, employees received training on using Navisworks for clash detection and exporting Clash Detection Reports from Autodesk Navisworks.

By utilizing Autodesk Docs, BILT was able to save costs associated with printing documents and closely monitor and resolve any issues that arise, while improving communication between their office and construction sites. Moreover, the application of advanced techniques such as Autodesk Revit, 3D modeling, and BIM in various tasks such as workload calculation, shop drawing, work progress management, order placement, and O&M contributed to BILT's ability to deliver products of high technical and high quality to investors.

BILT has received consultative services and enthusiastic support from the technical team of BIMAGE Consulting in applying Autodesk solutions, specifically the products included in the Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction Collection. With their help, BILT was able to resolve issues related to design standards and collaboration workflows.
