Moldflow Proved Successful in Resolving the Warpage Issue
The customer, Minebea AccessSolutions Thai Ltd., faced an issue with the warpage of plastic injection-molded parts not meeting specifications due to high warpage values. This prevented the parts from being assembled with glass. Initial attempts to adjust the injection parameters did not yield results within the specified tolerances. 3D scans revealed that the parts had high warpage values and did not meet the desired specifications.
