    Description

The roundtable is designed to connect like-minded individuals to share their understanding and experiences around Building Information Modeling (BIM)—the mindset, the process, and the technologies that shape BIM for the construction industry. We’ll explore the BIM process from the earliest preconcept stage, through conceptual design, detailed design, fabrication, planning, and construction. We’ll journey along the path of collaborative BIM, highlighting the Autodesk BIM Solutions that have been positioned to deliver this effectively and ensure a smooth project handover. The focus will be on Revit software and Navisworks software in conjunction with BIM 360 offerings, BIM 360 Team and Fusion Team (formerly A360 Team), Collaboration for Revit cloud service, BIM 360 Field software, BIM 360 Glue software, and BIM 360 Docs software.

    Key Learnings

    • Realize the significance of the BIM mandate in the new world order (processes, interoperability collaboration, classification and document management)
    • Understand the benefits of setting up a comprehensive BIM framework to assist in the delivery of BIM Level 2 compliant projects
    • Discuss how Autodesk cloud-based technology has the ability to revolutionize future BIM workflow processes
    • Engage in firsthand feedback with companies sharing experiences based on real-world projects
