Miron Construction has been using BIM 360 software and the Autodesk Construction Cloud platform for several years now, and has gained valuable experience on how best to set up the building information modeling (BIM) coordination process using all the features of Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, and Revit software. We will lay out how using cloud-based workshared models that are bridged to and from multiple sites, Autodesk BIM Collaborate Pro licensing, and controlled scheduled publishing can bring efficiencies to your BIM coordination workflow. We'll also demonstrate the benefits of operating in a high-trust environment where subcontractors and architects work side by side on each other's sites.

Nearly all design firms today produce intelligent models created by building information modeling (BIM), yet the rich data these models hold is often underused or merely labeled for "informational purposes." This minimizes costs, delays, and quality problems. Additionally, retrospective data analysis allows learning from past successes and failures, leading to more informed decisions for future projects. This data-driven approach fosters a culture of continuous learning and improvement, resulting in increased competitiveness and client satisfaction.

There are rising needs for higher productivity, influenced by factors like overtime regulations, project complexity, and reduced proficiency among management. We were able to efficiently manage large-scale projects without delays by adapting Autodesk Construction Cloud and collaborating with project stakeholders. Drawing management relied heavily on Excel, which can be questionable due to difficulties in visualizing progress and understanding interrelationships with drawings and order changes. These miscommunications cause delays in 20% of projects. To address this, Autodesk Construction Cloud can not only integrate data with models, but also allow for better visualization, especially during schedule changes, with the goal of eliminating misunderstandings and material order delays. We achieve zero delays stemming from the procurement process across all Autodesk Construction Cloud-adapted projects. This initiative is then integrated into on-site construction progress management.

Sustainability and cost efficiency for residential building is more important than ever. We will present with our customer Haas an integrated workflow from the configurator, an automated detailed design process in Revit to fabrication and the construction site. This digital process allows prospects to visually configure and calculate any residential or family timber house. These visualization of the customer's request via the house configurator leads to a faster and high-quality discussion with the customer. Seamless transition from configuration to design in Autodesk Revit ensures that no extra detail design work must be carried out manually. That model is transferred into the fabrication process and finally all data is leveraged via BIM360/ACC BUILD on construction sites for project and quality management and daily logs.

The cooperative approach of IPA fundamentally reforms conventional project execution at many levels with the goal of successfully realizing construction projects in terms of quality, schedules, and costs. Due to the complex user requirements and simultaneously intense time pressure, the client has opted for the integrated project delivery (IPD) method for the new laboratory building in Berlin. The new laboratory and research building is expected to be completed by 2028. A critical foundation for success is the model-based collaboration of the involved disciplines from planning and implementation. The complexity of bid packages, which combine 3D models and 2D drawings, has estimators worldwide struggling to calculate accurate quantities. The added pressure of receiving updated bid packages has also caused estimators to work long hours and have sleepless nights. The result is either not winning the job or winning with little profit. This is where Autodesk Takeoff software—the cloud-based 2D and 3D QTO tool hosted on Autodesk Construction Cloud—is proving to be a game changer. This lab will focus on giving attendees a hands-on experience of the connected takeoff process using the industry-leading automated 3D takeoff capabilities combined with easy-to-use 2D takeoff tools. You'll learn the process of setting up 3D and 2D takeoff types, adding unit cost to takeoff types, performing accurate takeoffs, updating the bid package with the new set of drawings, comparing existing snapshots to active takeoff currently in progress, and then exporting the combined 3D and 2D takeoff inventory.

Andrew Cameron, project manager with Hensel Phelps, will share his insights from pioneering 360-degree reality capture on his project, the $1.2 billion Harvey Milk Terminal 1 at the San Francisco International Airport, since 2016. He and his team of 16 field engineers have worked closely with HoloBuilder over the last three years to invent and build out many of the workflows and features that are essential on tens of thousands of construction sites around the world today, including 360-degree markups and the JobWalk app itself. He will discuss how to use 360-degree documentation to drive value on a billion-dollar project for the client, stakeholders, and his project team. He will also share his experiences of how to successfully partner with construction technology providers to build the technologies you always wanted. To highlight the team’s successful innovation partnership, he will reveal the latest co-developed solutions to speed up and even automate reality capture on projects.

Building Information Modeling () offers opportunities to improve collaborative work and integration in the AEC industry. It is increasingly adopted in construction projects and specially in Kuwait's projects.This presentation will uncover one of the mega BIM projects in Kuwait "Kuwait International Airport Terminal 2" project. During the presentation, the attendees will see the progress of the project and how " LIMAK Insaat " which is the main contractor literally implemented BIM during the construction phase. The presentation will also show the clash detection procedures followed and what LIMAK Insaat is doing beyond 3D modeling in this magnificent project.

There was a time not long ago that architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) was one of the lowest-ranked industries for adoption of technology. We won't go so far as to say that AEC has become a high-tech industry—but it is surely on its way. We've seen a massive increase in the available tech across design and construction. We find ourselves dealing with multiple tech providers, constantly changing products, and implementation after implementation with our employees. For the people focused on technology, it is manageable. For field staff, preconstruction teams, and everyone else, it can be a lot to handle and take in. We spend all this time implementing a solution, and a year later a new one comes along that we're expected to learn. Managing this with our teams has been a real challenge, and it isn't going away anytime soon. We hope to communicate to everyone our strategy for managing this onslaught of new tools, our decision-making criteria for what we're moving forward with, and how to keep our teams sharp.
