A Qatar Building Company wanted to create reinforcement drawings and used to take lot of time in AutoCAD to prepare the reinforcements for beams, columns, footings, and slab. Rework was taking time and they were seeking a competitive software solution for structural analysis and design. They wanted to have an integrated solution. The team showed them how to create reinforcements in Revit and the users were quickly able to create reinforcements effectively. Modifying the reinforcements did not take much time.
The team also delivered training to the users on Revit and Robot Structural Analysis. They were able to import the model in Robot Structural Analysis and perform the analysis. After creating the reinforcement for slabs, footings, beams, and columns, they were able to export in .dwg format and share with the site designers through Autodesk Docs. The team at the home office and project site were coordinated effectively through Autodesk Docs and did not face any issues in improving their collaboration.
