IC-L Construction Consulting Pvt. Ltd. (further referred to as IC-L CCPL) situated in Pune is a design engineering company that’s been in India for the last 15 years. IC-L CCPL’s journey in India has seen its fair share of ups and downs, but the journey has left its clients satisfied.

The most critical project goal were as follows:

Autodesk BIM (Revit) has been used by IC-L CCPL in some projects wherein otherwise coordination between Architectural and MEP services would still be left with a big gap and eradicating collisions would not have been possible in 2D. To streamline our design process and to save on execution time, BIM modelling was adopted so that execution would continue seamlessly without posing challenges at the job site.
Using Autodesk Revit helped eradicate collisions amongst various services that were dominating the projects. This not only helped the various vendors executing works at the site without getting into each other’s hair, it also expedited the installation and commissioning of the services and left behind a satisfied client.
400+ clashes were detected when the various Consultants’ drawings were superimposed. Over a period of 90 days, the clashes were eradicated, the Consultants were informed of the same, and collision-free drawings were issued for construction. The project had a smooth run with minor hiccups; however, the project was completed to all stakeholder’s satisfaction.
