Merged Licenses to Streamline Work

Merged Licenses to Streamline Work

Customer challenge

Fast Travel Games (FTG) develops VR games and has quickly grown its business, launching game titles continuously over the years. As the company has grown in a short time, the need for more Autodesk Maya licenses has increased. The company had 13 different Autodesk Maya licenses on an annual basis, distributed among different retailers with varying renewal dates.

Project goals

FTG came to Autodesk Solution Provider Megafront for support to merge the licenses. They wanted the licenses on the same quote and to choose invoices instead of having to pay by card.

Solution

Megafront set out to help FTG by identifying every single license, where it was ordered (through Autodesk directly or a reseller) and when it needed renewal. By reminding FTG every time each license expires to sign it through Megafront, all 13 licenses were merged on the same invoice, located on the same date.

Business outcome

After having all of their licenses merged, FTG could stop worrying about administrative work regarding the tools and instead focus on doing what they do best: creating games.

Conclusion

FTG has been a loyal customer of Megafront for a long time. By smoothly solving their problems with scattered licenses, our relationship, mutual trust and loyalty to each other increased. Fast Travel Games was also able to devote their precious time to creating VR games with the necessary tools that the Autodesk Maya licenses entailed instead of worrying about invoices and not trusting the tools to work appropriately.

Easy Transfer of Licenses

Nicklas took his Motion Graphics studio business from New York to his home-town in southern Sweden when he and his wife were expecting their second child. The problem was that when Nicklas wanted to move his license from USA to Sweden, almost no one could help him transfer the license quick enough. Nicklas then contacted Autodesk Solution Provider Megafront who helped him in an easy and quick way.
