Moldflow for Rapid Heating and Cooling
Varroc Polymers Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary of the Varroc Group and was established in 2010 to make plastic molds required for manufacturing various types of automotive components. These components such as headlamp covers, mudguards, and more are mainly used in the trimming of prototypes and subsequently mass manufactured. Nevertheless, the challenge was to identify plastic part issues before doing tooling, by making use of a complex process such as Rapid Heating and Cooling.
INITIA DESIGN STUDIO
The INITIA project involved herculean tasks on its course and required complete team dedication. It was a journey of interpreting complex final designs for vehicle surfaces, conversion of a sketch into 3D, digital prototyping for engineering and feasibility of the design, evaluation of the design post-engineering alterations, and a skilled approach towards software adaptability.
