STS Group is dedicated to being the best and most cost-efficient provider of electrical engineering and instrumentation services in Ireland, UK, Europe and the Middle East. Through their joint venture in Bahrain, STS-Buhindi W.L.L. wanted a solution for improving the team's productivity as well as reducing re-works in its projects. They required training on creating the Autodesk Revit Central File as well as orientation on BIM 360 Docs and further tools to improve their productivity. Through close collaboration with Oryx Technologies W.L.L., STS-Buhindi W.L.L. sought to find an optimal solution for their business needs.

Solution

Oryx Technologies worked closely with STS-Buhindi to deploy and use the Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Collection tools and to assist them in creating the Revit Central File that has enabled them to collaborate with other stakeholders with ease.

Business outcome

The project enabled them to reduce re-works with the visibility of issues earlier and find clashes with other disciplines through the use of Autodesk Navisworks Manage. Orientation training was delivered for BIM 360 Docs which has helped STS-Buhindi in automating drawing revisions and achieving better collaboration.

Conclusion

STS-Buhindi was able to achieve increased productivity by using the AEC Collection solution that has improved the overall collaboration issues and re-works were reduced. They continue to renew their AEC Collection subscription in addition to adding new Autodesk products for their team.
