Falcon Technologies International (FTI) is a leading world class manufacturer of professional optical data storage media and an archival solutions provider. FTI is setting a new industry benchmark by rapid fulfilment through next-generation manufacturing, and to perform the operations from scratch to finished goods, it demands various business processes. Project goals

Priority project goals identified were as follows: 1) Implement a solution which helps to create complex geometry, 3D Modeling, allows more tools and functionality. 2) Ensure that the solution helps to do billing. 3) Once the 3D model and features are ready, the model should be able to be sent for additive manufacturing.

By implementing Autodesk Inventor Professional, Fusion 360 and Netfabb Premium, FTI can now build complex 3D models. Billing with Netfabb and Fusion 360 is helping to send designs for additive manufacturing. FTI can test their product before it goes for manufacturing and save last moment re-work. Using Autodesk Inventor Professional, FTI has implemented a workflow which saves more time, increases productivity and allows them to increase customization with multiple add-in capabilities.
