Darwish Holding is a Qatar-based company that strives to deliver excellence to their clients through development, construction and many other industries. Darwish Holding needed BIM software support for a construction project. Through recommendations from industry partners, Darwish Holding discovered Autodesk Solution Provider Promedia’s Team. Fast forward to today, Darwish Holding continues to utilize Promedia’s services for BIM template development, consulting services, model aggregation and help with controlling their RFI process.
For the first project Promedia was assigned to, the goal was to simply satisfy some deliverables and get models developed for coordination.
With Promedia’s support, Darwish Holding could stay ahead of different modeling changes and project-specific requirements while navigating the challenges of scope gap modeling.
Project goals were identified as follows:
1. Switch to BIM by utilizing the Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Collection solution's features.

Promedia initially supported Darwish Holding for a technical query related to roads and utilities on a civil project, but once Darwish Holding realized the quality of work, they tasked Promedia to develop BIM templates to use across the company. They needed somebody with utility experience, so they brought Promedia to the table. Once that test pilot was successful, they worked to nail down the next evolution of our templates for BIM.
Based on the success of those projects, Promedia continues to work with Darwish Holding to help manage, model and aggregate different projects and take control of the RFI process to update models.
