Rondo is a highly focused business involved in the manufacturing and supply of a wide range of light gauge rolled formed steel products and systems, primarily for the construction industry in Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

Rondo engaged Cross Technology to develop and customise an Autodesk Vault setup which provided automated PDF creation, custom forms and complex numbering schemes. With Autodesk Vault the creation of folders can be controlled and a history of changes to a document is recorded. The solution provided was a customised software solution suited for Rondos needs with specialised touches to help automate the creation of new parts and assemblies.
As a result of the work done by Cross Technology, Rondo now has better drawing control, a reduction in incorrect versions, enforced revision control and overall better visibility of their entire engineering data.
The Autodesk Vault user interface is easy to learn and intuitive for the Rondo team. Rondo was impressed by the ability to have Vault layout and functionality tailored to meet Rondo’s document Lifecycle needs.
