また、Autodesk Inventor Professionalを設計時の利用だけでなく取引先へのプレゼンでも有効に活用しているという。
「取引先の担当者の皆さんが2Dの図面を見慣れているわけではありません。
3Dデータをお見せしながら打ち合わせすることにより意思の疎通が容易になりました。
精度の高いコミュニケーションがとれるので解釈の相違によるトラブルは皆無です。取引先とのコミュニケーションを円滑に進めるためのツールとしても優秀であると感じています。」
同社の設計製作する装置で使用される技術は、得意とする樹脂成形部品の組立装置だけでなく様々な分野で応用可能であるという。
最後に今後の課題について語っていただいた。
「様々な分野へ販路を拡大するためにはInventorを正しく使える設計者の育成が必須です。私自身は多くの失敗を重ねながらInventorの最適な使用方法を見つけましたが、現在は苦労して策定したInventor利用の社内ルールがあります。そのルールの意味を正しく理解してもらい、ルールに沿って使用すれば割りと短期間で育成できるのではと感じています。」
