Build

Create customized software applications

ISV Build is a commercial agreement in which third-party developers embed Autodesk technology into customized software applications. We offer special developer-friendly versions of our software that enable you to “build” your solutions.

An embeddable version of AutoCAD known as AutoCAD OEM and the RealDWG developer toolkit are our 2 key developer products for Build partners. New is the Inventor OEM program.

AutoCAD OEM and Inventor OEM are development platforms upon which you can create industry-specific products that offer only the features, commands, menus, and design data your customers require. AutoCAD OEM and Inventor are proven versions that have helped many third-party developers address the wants of small, yet lucrative, markets.

AutoCAD is ideal for extending design information to users outside the traditional CAD community. For example, AutoCAD is widely used to support merchandising and retail solutions designed to be used by floor staff and the general public.

With the RealDWG toolkit, you can develop applications with 100% DWG read/write capability. RealDWG for AutoCAD provides compatibility with AutoCAD DWG files; this includes read and write support for AutoCAD Release 14 and later. As an OEM partner, you will definitely want to use the original DWG format from the maker of AutoCAD.
