Renew institutional access to Education software


Single-user subscriptions for educational institutions expire three years after the date of acquisition. On behalf of your institution, you can check your expiration date in Autodesk Account Subscriptions & Contracts. Once the subscription expires, generate a new educational institutional subscription by going to the Education product page (US Site) and selecting the product your educational institution requires. If you have not already re-verified your eligibility on behalf of your institution, you will be prompted to submit information to obtain educational access.

About multi-seat and network licences

As of March 2026, Autodesk will no longer offer new network and multi-seat licences. When you renew, Autodesk recommends that you choose single-user subscriptions. However, if your serial number licence expires and you need more time to transition to single-user subscriptions, renew following these steps: 

  1. Sign into the Autodesk education product page (US Site). 
  2. Select the product and plan for your educational institution.
  3. Reconfirm your eligibility, if needed.
  4. For multi-user licences, generate a new serial number licence.
