    Description

In this class you will learn how to present and evaluate simulation data for computer-generated and scanned environments by using Autodesk, Inc.’s, latest real-time technology, Stingray software. We will use Autodesk’s cloud offering ReCap Photo software to capture real-world data using drone flights and GoPro, Inc., videos, and we’ll prepare models and textures using 3ds Max software and Memento software. You can use the captured environment for simulation and in-context display of Building Information Modeling (BIM) data sets, which we will present using Stingray—a real-time engine that is capable of not only creating interactive story telling, but can also be used to create virtual reality experiences on mobile, web, and desktop platforms.

    Key Learnings

    • Learn how to use ReCap Photo to capture and create real-world environments
    • Learn how to prepare BIM and CFD simulation data for real-time display using 3ds Max
    • Learn how to create interactive experiences using the real-time engine Stingray
    • Learn about the benefits of interactive story telling and virtual reality environments
