    Description

    This class is about showing how it is possible to work with mechanical softwares, which at the first impression seem incompatible with Revit or other to do correct 3D coordination, and to produce effectively 2D plans without geometry limitation. It will be based on the case-study of a construction project of a hydroelectric pumping station located in Morroco with a contract of 284 millions euros. The content of this class will demonstrate and share the practical solution that could be applied in any industrial construction projects.

    Key Learnings

    • Create a process of collaboration with the design team, stakeholders, using BIM workflows
    • Overcome interoperability issues between Autodesk products and Mechanichal software such as Solidworks or Siemens NX.
    • Produce a federated model in Civil engineering buildings using Navisworks software and BIM tools
    • Communicate correclty with the Autodesk support to overcome your issues.
