If you are writing add-ins for Revit software, then this is the perfect forum to get to know better the people who shape the APIs you work with and to explain your views, ideas, and problems directly face-to-face. Note that prior .NET programming and Revit programming experience is required and that this class is not suitable for beginners.

Sasha Crotty joined Autodesk, Inc., in 2005 as a developer for Revit Structure software. She went on to lead the Revit Structure Development Team before switching gears into product management. As the Revit Platform Services product manager, she is responsible for the direction and evolution of Revit's multi-disciplinary tools, Collaboration for Revit, performance, and the Revit API. Sasha holds a BA in Architecture and a BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as an MBA from Boston University. In her spare time Sasha enjoys growing miniature orchids and traveling around the world.

Jeremy is a member of the AEC workgroup of the Autodesk Developer Network ADN team, providing developer support, training, conference presentations, and blogging on the Revit API. He joined Autodesk in 1988 as the technology evangelist responsible for European developer support to lecture, consult, and support AutoCAD application developers in Europe, the United States, Australia, and Africa. He was a co-founder of ADGE, the AutoCAD Developer Group Europe, and a prolific author on AutoCAD application development. He left Autodesk in 1994 to work as an HVAC application developer, and then rejoined the company in 2005. Jeremy graduated in mathematics and physics in Germany, worked as a teacher and translator, then as a C++ programmer on early GUI and multitasking projects. He is fluent in six European languages, vegetarian, has four kids, plays the flute, likes reading, travelling, theatre improvisation, carpentry, and loves mountains, oceans, sports, and especially climbing.

Saikat is a Senior Technical Consulting Manager with Autodesk Consulting, with a primary focus of integrations of enterprise applications with Autodesk’s Forge Platform and customizations of the Autodesk’s AEC products using the APIs. Prior to working with Autodesk Consulting, Saikat was a member of the AEC workgroup of the Autodesk Developer Network (ADN) team, providing evangelism, support, trainings and delivering technical presentations to the third party developers. He joined Autodesk in 2004 and has prior experience as GIS software developer and as a project architect with the construction industry. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master of Science degree from Rensselaer.

Miro has extensive combined engineering and IT background, with a Dipl.Ing. in Civil and Structural Engineering (Split, Croatia), PhD. in Numerical Methods in Engineering (Swansea, Wales) and 30 years’ experience in commercial engineering software design, development and customization. He's been with Autodesk for over 17 years, initially as Developer Consulting Specialist and currently as Solutions/Software Architect with Autodesk Consulting. His specialty have always been APIs for all Autodesk® AEC and BIM products, a topic on which he has conducted numerous training sessions, given many conference talks and provided direct technical support. For the last 11 years, he's been applying combined API, products, industry, methodologies and process analyses knowledge to architecting and developing consulting solutions that extend the functionality of Autodesk BIM/AEC products and integrate them within various specific customer workflows, processes and solutions.

Scott is a Software Development Manager in the Revit® development team, focused on API and Interoperability. Since joining Autodesk in 2007, he has led a team working on the design, implementation and testing of the rapid expansion of the Revit® API.Scott has 15 years of experience producing Application Programming Interfaces for parametric 3D modeling systems in a variety of languages and styles. His primary focus has been to enable customers to automate repetitive tasks, extend the application user interface, and transfer data between the application and different data formats. Scott holds a Master of Computer Systems Engineering degree from Northeastern University with a concentration on CAD/CAM/CAE.

Angel Velez is a senior principal engineer at Autodesk, Inc. In 1992 he graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with BS degrees in computer science and mathematics, and he graduated from Stanford University with a master's degree in computer science in 1994. After working in the mechanical CAD industry for 5 years, he joined Charles River Software in 1999 to work on a project that eventually became known as Revit software. Since 2004 Angel has been working primarily on interoperability issues, concentrating on Industry Foundation Classes (IFC).
